Welcome to the Nordic Young Professionals Network
Nordic Young Professionals Network (NYPN) is Mondelēz International’s network for young professionals in the Nordic region, with the goal of hosting inspiring and social events for all employees up to the age of 39.
The network, which is grassroot driven, is open and inclusive, encouraging cross-function exchange between young professionals.
The aim is to offer young professionals in the Nordics a platform to grow through activities linked to personal and career development, health and well-being, inspiration and networking.
– We want Mondelēz International to be a fun and vibrant workplace. A young professional network can help achieve this. We want to inspire young talents to broaden their views on categories, on functions and on the rest of the world, says Panagiota Lampropoulou from the NYPN leadership team.
Before the pandemic, the network met several times a year for activities on current and exciting topics.
– One of my favorite events was the “Snackathon” where we invited external speakers to inspire and give us the tools to be creative in thinking of solutions to meet our steep targets. Recently, we have made this event digital, but it has been just as successful as before. This year’s topic was diversity and inclusion, which was much appreciated by everyone, says Heather Mallett, previous NYPN leadership team.
The activities clearly link to subjects such as leadership, well-being, diversity and inclusion and offer everything from breakfast talks, interviews with celebrities and football clubs as well as after-work social activities. Even though there is an unofficial age limit, the network is open for everyone.
– All employees are welcome if they want to be part of the network as it’s not just a question of age, but also where you are in your career, says Panagiota. If you are young at heart – you are always welcome. We want to inspire colleagues to develop and grow within Mondelēz International by creating a platform for career development, where colleagues can meet and learn more about other functions and roles and contribute to the well-being of all employees.
