Crédit Mutuel Arkéa selects Nexus to strengthen information security through digital identities

We are pleased to announce that one of Frances’ largest and innovative banks, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, has selected Nexus Smart ID to support its digital transformation efforts through an identity-based security approach.

Crédit Mutuel Arkéa will enable trusted identities for what Nexus refers to as workplace devices, where all servers and workplace devices use a unique identity for strong authentication and encrypted communication. By utilizing the Nexus platform, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa will have access to best-practice identity management processes supporting current and future needs.

Dynamic business environments, like banking and financial services, can utilize digital identities for people and things to provide seamless access to internal resources while strengthening company security and governance. For Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, their need to support 45 000 unique identities for people and things makes it critical to have cybersecurity solutions like identity management and a best practice PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).

The Smart ID – Digital ID management module gives Crédit Mutuel Arkéa a foundation to maintain the full lifecycle of its identities and objects in the form of digital certificates that are then provisioned into all device types. In the future, it can also be used for smart cards, virtual smart cards and mobile virtual smart cards.

The solution will be implemented by local Nexus partner, Magellan Sécurité.
