Biomedical Bonding’s AdhFix treatment of bone fractures has been chosen as a cover by the publisher Wiley for their journal – Advanced Functional Materials.
AdhFix is a patient personalized surgical treatment for the fixation of complex fractures that exclude the use of rigid metal plates.
AdhFix is an innovative fracture fixation method that landed a spot as a cover page of the highly coveted Wiley Journal – Advanced Functional Materials. The scientific article titled “Highly Customizable Bone Fracture Fixation through the Marriage of Composites and Screws” is now available online forviewing(https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adfm.202170302).The publication will give you an insight on a new bone fracture fixation treatment that can replace metal plates with composite fixators that are created by the surgeons during the fixation of fractures. Led by Professor Michael Malkoch (right) and co-authors Viktor Granskog and Daniel John Hutchinson (from left respectively).
