Johan Ståhle and Mark Pasternak appointed as CPO and CTO

Storytel AB (publ.) appoints its current Head of Technology, Mark Pasternak, as Chief Technology Officer, and its Head of  Product, Johan Ståhle, as Chief Product Officer.

This structural solution for the Technology function’s representation in Storytel AB’s management team replaces the Chief Development Officer position, that thereby ceases.

Effectively from today, Mark Pasternak and Johan Ståhle join Storytel AB’s management team as members and assume their positions as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Product Officer (CPO). The CTO and CPO roles replace the acting Chief Development Officer (CDO) position in Storytel’s management team that has been temporarily held by CEO Jonas Tellander since August 2021.

Storytel’s new CTO, Mark Pasternak, has more than 20 years of experience in the tech industry. He has worked in a number of senior leadership roles across leading Nordic tech and media companies.

Mark’s experience includes leading product and platform teams as Director of Engineering at Schibsted Media Group and Epidemic Sound.

Johan Ståhle, new CPO at Storytel, comes from an entrepreneurial background leading product development and scaling digital business in the fintech and management consulting sectors. Johan is the co-founder and former Chief Product Officer of the Nordic fintech company Dreams and has also been Expert Engagement Manager at McKinsey.
