Sigma Technology starts a new office in Kristianstad, Sweden
The past year brought many challenges and difficulties, influencing society, local businesses, global industries, but without any regard for this, Sigma Technology Group continues to follow the strategy for expanding its local presence to bolster the global strength.
Along with recently opened offices in Norrköping, Stockholm, and Oslo, Sigma Technology has announced a launch of a new office in Kristianstad.
The main focus will be on supporting telecom, fintech, automotive, and logistics industries by supplying software & embedded systems consulting teams. Kristianstad will be a part of the region together with Karlshamn and Karlskrona enabling close cooperation with the other sites and other companies within Sigma Group to use competencies in the best way. “We work mostly with projects and commitments that are managed from our office to customers around Sweden, but also outside. We will continue to work in a way where we can make a total commitment to projects and offer our customers high competence with a cost-effective solution in the future,” says Simon Sönnby, a unit manager at Sigma Technology.
Simon Sönnby also comments on the general vision: “As part of our expansion, we see there is great potential in the Kristianstad region with high competence and developed industry. Moreover, it has a very advantageous geographical location, which complements our other offices. We have been looking at the Kristianstad region for a long time and have gathered together a group of talented people, and now we are continuing to grow. In addition, it feels great to be able to build this office in a city where I grew up and that means a lot to me.”
Within the recruitment strategy, Sigma Technology aims to build a strong community feeling in a new office in Kristianstad to attract talents that will share its philosophy, company vision, and passion for technologies. Daniel Borg, COO at Sigma Technology Systems, comments: “we don´t need to recruit massively. Instead, we focus on attracting people we believe in and think they will fit perfectly into the office and business”.
