In-App purchases from mobile gaming apps is the most lucrative revenue stream for mobile gaming as evidenced by the segment passing the $100B mark in 2020.

The stream is projected to sustain this impressive growth in 2021 and hit an even more impressive figure by the year 2025.

According to data presented by Safe Betting Sites, revenue from in-app purchases is projected to grow to $133B in 2021 and grow by a compound annual growth rate of 10% in the next four years, reaching $195B by 2025.

Number Of Downloads Reaches 100B Milestone

The number of mobile gaming app downloads is also expected to breach an important milestone in 2021 as it breaches the 100B download mark. It is estimated that by the end of 2021, 116B gaming apps will have been downloaded. The number of downloads is expected to grow at a substantial CAGR of 9.23% in the four-year period from 2021-2025, reaching over 165B downloads by the end of the forecast period.
