Gleechi AB announces continued rapid adoption of the Gleechi VR Training Platform

NEWS Article

Gleechi AB, an award-winning developer of Virtual Reality training solutions, has today announced that Fagskolen Oslo, a long-established Norwegian vocational education provider, has chosen the Gleechi VR Training Platform with its no-code tools offering to evolve and bolster training capabilities.

The initial training makes use of the extensive library of off-the-shelf training programmes offered by the Gleechi platform, which can be easily tailored and customised using visual creator tools.

Gleechi announces continued rapid adoption of the Gleechi VR Training PlatformFagskolen Oslo has chosen to deploy components of an extensive Sterile Technician Training Programme, customised to meet the local needs of healthcare needs. Through offering VR-based training, a new generation of digital-first students is encouraged to engage in vocational careers.

VirtualGrasp technology is used to enable natural hand interaction, making it possible for students to infinitely practice and develop hands-on skills – handling instruments and using complex equipment within Virtual Reality.

“We are immensely proud to welcome Fagskolen Olso to the Gleechi VR training platform.

As a vocational education provider with a long history of delivering high-quality learning, adopting our platform underlines the importance of making VR training more accessible through our no-code tooling.

What would traditionally require specialised software development skills with long development cycles can now be done by anyone in a matter of minutes. This hands the power of VR training to expert educators who know their domain intimately.”

Jakob Way, CEO, Gleechi

By using VR training, Fagskolen Oslo is able to provide students with unlimited access to virtualised training environments that accurately reflect the real world.

“Introducing VR training gives us our students exciting new opportunities to learn.

The Sterile Technician training programme, included in the Gleechi VR training platform, is a comprehensive and customisable solution that we can tailor to meet the needs of the curriculum.

Students can jump into training on-demand, developing essential hands-on skills, that would otherwise only be possible through allocating time with training centres.”

Olaug Elisabeth Vibe, Head of Health, Fagskolen Oslo

The Gleechi VR Training Platform makes it possible to tailor the Sterile Technician training programme to meet the needs of any healthcare organisation, offering an effective and scalable way to deliver training.
