Team Nordic Trail launches their new concept race; “Blackyard” on the RaceID platform
Team Nordic Trail is launching the brand new concept race; Blackyard on the RaceID Platform.
Blackyard is a race in the dark where you are guided through a course marked with reflectors lit up by your headlamp.
The Blackyard concept is inspired by Backyard races and will give all participants a whole new experience in the dark.
The reflex course is 3 km long and set by trail runners for trail runners. It will be challenging, hilly and tough! As a runner, you must complete the course in a maximum of 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the next lap starts on the track. If you are finished in 25 minutes, you thus have 5 minutes rest in the rotation station before the next start. It does not matter what time or position you have on these laps as long as you arrive within the maximum time of 30 min. If you do not have time to return within 30 minutes, you are “out of the game”! The running competition will probably reap its victims in the dark.
Blackyard takes place on the 26th-27th of February in Stockholm.
