Landitec extends scope7 product range
The German network equipment distributor Landitec® announces two new product members of the scope7® appliance family, extending the product range of its own brand for contemporary and ready-to-run security solutions.
Since the launch of scope7® in 2011, Landitec® has been releasing state-of-the-art solutions for network infrastructures, consequently meeting contemporary performance, security and efficiency requirements.
Powerful hardware appliances tailored for large and enterprise network requirements
The demands of network infrastructures grow proportionally with their sizes. The scope7-5220 and scope7-5520 fulfill the requirements of enterprise business networks reliably and professionally due to powerful hardware components, rich connectivity and expandability features – housing everything in a compact 1U chassis.
What’s inside?
The new scope7-5220 appliance is equipped with an Intel® XEON E-2236 CPU (with AES-NI), 64 GB DDR4 ECC RAM and a 240 GB SSD storage. The device provides high connectivity, expandability and great throughput features, such as 12 x RJ45 GbE, 8 x SFP+ 10G ports and one free network module slot, completing the overall outstanding hardware components.
The new scope7-5520 runs with an Intel® Xeon Silver 4216 CPU (with AES-NI) and is equipped with powerful hardware components, such as 128 GB ECC DDR4 RAM and a 240 GB SSD storage. The appliance offers rich connectivity, expandability and powerful throughput features by providing 8 x RJ45 GbE, 4 x SFP+ 10G Ports and three free network module slots.
In addition, Landitec’s business philosophy of merging high quality hardware with long-term engineering experience and efficient open source software is valid for all launched scope7® products, being also the case for these two new appliance members.
